1.1 We are Kite Kids Ltd (Kite), registered in England and Wales under company number 6156545. We have our registered office at 18 Branksome Business Park, Poole, Dorset, BH12 1DW. Our VAT number is GB983895348.

1.2 Kite is a ‘data controller’ which means we are responsible for determining how we process your data.

3. What data we collect and when

3.1 We collect and process personal data that you give to us when you:

3.1.1 Submit your contact information to us while placing an order with us. We hold personal information including your name, email address, phone number(s), home address, shipping address(es) and billing address(es) as well as transaction data such as what you added to your cart so that we can process and fulfil your order. Please note we do not retain or store credit card, debit card or other confidential payment information. Additionally, we may also obtain information as a result of authentication or identity checks. This information allows us to process your order and to let you know the status of your order.

3.1.3 Sign up to receive emails via our website footer using your email address.

3.1.4 Enter a competition, promotion or survey for which you may provide a variety of appropriate information.

3.1.5 Get in touch to make an enquiry, discuss your order or make a complaint via email, our website contact form, social media, telephone or post for which you may provide a variety of appropriate information such as your name, email address and telephone number.

3.2 When you visit our website we may collect certain non-personal information about your visit, for example: pages visited, times and volume of use of our website as well as traffic data which includes logs, details of networks, time of log-in or access, length of sessions and similar systems data.

3.3 Our site uses cookies to distinguish you from other users of the site. This allows us to help you view content more efficiently, improve the overall user experience, and to help direct relevant advertising to you. Most browsers are automatically set to accept cookies but usually you can alter the settings of your browser to prevent automatic acceptance. 4. Who we share your data with

4.1 We may disclose your personal information to any member of our group, which means our subsidiaries, our ultimate holding company and its subsidiaries.

4.2 We will keep your information within our group except where disclosure is required or permitted by law or when we use third party service providers (“data processors”) to supply or support our services to you. We have agreements in place with our data processors which means that they cannot do anything with your personal data unless we have instructed them to do so. 4.3 We may also share your name, address and telephone number with third party fulfilment partners to enable them to deliver your order and contact you if there is an issue.

4.4 We may also contact you via email to invite you to review any services and/or products you received from us in order to collect your feedback and improve our services and products (the “Purpose”). We use an external company, Trustpilot A/S (“Trustpilot”), to collect your feedback which means that we will share your name, email address and order number with Trustpilot for the Purpose. 4.4.1 We may use such reviews in other promotional material and media for our advertising and promotional purposes.

4.5 We will not sell or rent your personal information to other organisations for marketing purposes.

5. How we store data

5.1 We try to maintain appropriate safeguards to ensure the security, integrity and privacy of the information you have provided us with. When you place an order or access your account information, we use a Secure Socket Layer (SSL) encryption which encrypts your information before it is sent to us to protect it from unauthorised use. The transmission of information via the internet is not completely secure and any transmission is at your own risk; although we will do our best to protect your personal data, we cannot guarantee the security of your data transmitted to our site.
