We’ve listed our activities by age range, but feel free to explore any and all of them with your children. Paint, craft, discover, fold and more, we have something for everyone.
No printer? No worries! Our activities can be enjoyed without needing to print anything.
Baby to 4 years
Below you'll find fun activities aimed at little ones up to 4 years, from garden counting practice to fun fork flower painting.
Fork flower painting
Whip out your cutlery (just not your best!) and create some simple but super effective flower paintings. You could send your creations to family or friends to cheer them up or snap pics and share digitally for some instant smiles.

Nature soup
This is a wonderful sensory play activity that will keep your little one entertained for hours. There is so much fun to be had creating the soup then playing with and pouring it. No actual drinking allowed though - it's make-believe only!
5 - 7 years
Here you'll find activities aimed at little ones aged 5 - 7 years, from our tasty butterfly cakes to a fun scavenger hunt the whole family can do together.
Scavenger hunt
This is a fab activity for doing on your daily walk or in the back garden. How many of our garden items can you spot? If you can't print our guide, simply view it on your phone and test your memory to see if you can remember what you have seen!
Sunflower plate
This fun craft activity is so simple yet really effective. Who knew a paper plate could look so bright!? Paint, cut and glue - it's that easy :-)
Stone art
Get creative with all the stones and pebbles you can find! Try creating our ladybirds and caterpillars or simply explore lots of patterns and shapes. Who can build the highest stone tower?
Butterfly cakes
These classic cakes are the things childhood memories are made of. Bake them together and enjoy munching on them before they fly away! Recipe from BBC Good Food.
7 - 11 years
Below are activities aimed at little ones aged 7 - 11 years, from making a simple bug hotel to crafting gorgeous pressed flowers into cards for family and friends.
Simple bug hotel
This simple bug hotel is easy to make with things around your home and garden. Enjoy making your very own hotel, then watch as bugs and insects set up house with you.
Pollination and bees
For all of those little ones who love to learn we have just the thing for you. Firstly find out all the parts of a flower and then discover how bees pollinate our beautiful plants.
Pressed flower cards
Now is a wonderful time to send a thoughtful card in the post to those we love. Here is a beautiful idea for those with a little patience and some heavy books!
Origami frog
Ribbit, ribbit! Impress your family with your folding skills and create this fab frog out of paper. This is quite a challenge so grown ups might like to get involved too! To help we have added videos of each step which you can access by hovering over the steps on the instructions.
