Welcome to our summertime happy little home adventures! We'll regularly be sharing three fab activities based around a different theme. Which challenge will your little one choose? Check out our journey inspired activities below.
We have created one challenge per age group (baby - 4 years, 5-7 years and 7-11 years) but little ones of all ages may enjoy each activity, so simply pick your favourite, or do them all!
It’s wonderful to be able to explore a little further afield again, so this week we have created three fun activities designed for little ones who love to journey and explore, both in real-life as well as in their imaginations.
Memory game (baby - 4 years)
Our simple and fun memory game features lots of different types of transport that you might see when you’re out and about on your travels (and a few extras too!). Simply print out the images, cut them up, turn them over and see who can match the most pairs.
On my travels scavenger hunt (5-7 years)
Next time you’re on a journey why not play our fun scavenger hunt? This game can be played when you’re out for a walk, on a bike ride or in the car. Make sure you’re always being careful and paying attention when you’re outdoors, especially near roads. For an indoor version, why not see what toys you have that you can tick off?
Travel design and build (7-11 years)
Have you ever imagined what travelling in the future might be like? Well in our activity you can let your imagination run wild and design your very own futuristic vehicle. We also have two paper plane templates for you to fold and race. Which one will win?!
Colouring sheets
Crayons at the ready! Enjoy our latest colouring sheets which feature lots of fun designs from this week’s journey activities, suitable for all ages with simple shapes through to more complex scenes.
My journey
Peeking out of that window what can you see? From cars to buses and traffic lights to post boxes, the world is full of fascinating new sights for little ones. Learning from everyday activities like small journeys inspired us to create this fun design.
